Today is Election Day!
From school board member to President of the United States, and Senator to state representative, millions of Americans are making choices about who represents them in our democracy. The stakes for our children and families are high and it’s up to us to make sure our voices are heard in support of early childhood education and educators!
So before you hit the polls, or help others do so, here are some last-minute items to check off your list:
Check what’s on your ballot.
Find your polling place.
Bonus: Not yet registered and want to make your voice heard? Same-day voter registration is available in more than 20 states and in Washington, D.C.; you may still have time!
And remember, we want all voters to have their voice heard and their vote counted, no matter how long it takes. After all, we know just how important just one single vote can be!
Early childhood educators are essential, and voting is too. So let’s do this, together: on your mark, get set, GO VOTE!
